On October 16, global confectioner Ferrero Rocher released the first full commercial from its highly anticipated ad campaign starring Lee Min Ho.

The Hallyu star is dashing and suave as he departs from a boutique shop, with a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates in tow.

He hops on a scooter, evoking an image of Italian elegance, before making his way down the picturesque streets of Rome.

Each scene continues the premise that he is about to go out on a date, particularly when he swings by a florist to pick up a single, long stem rose. However, when he arrives at a palatial villa, he is greeted by a woman other than his real-life girlfriend, Suzy.

His first commercial for Ferrero Rocher emphasizes gratitude for hospitality, as he presents a party hostess with a box of the iconic candies.

Ferrero Rocher is the latest in his growing arsenal of lucrative endorsements, which continue to accumulate following the success of his recent campaign for the Korean Tourism Organization, which garnered more than 22 million YouTube views in less than two months.

The teaser for his Ferrero Rocher commercial racked up more than 1.1 million views within a four day period, exemplifying his growing impact as a product spokesman.

Through series like "Boys Over Flowers" and "The Heirs," he has made a significant impact on international Hallyu fans.

On October 15, Yonhap News published the results of a recent survey conducted by KBS World Radio. After polling 3,000 Arab consumers, 14.8 percent of participants named Lee Min Ho as the first person who comes to mind, when they think about Korea.

This survey designated the "Gangnam 1970" actor as the most beloved Korean star by Arabs, further demonstrating his significance as the global face of the Hallyu Wave.
