Bae Soo Bin And Lee Da Hee Join The Cast Of "Secrets"

Bae Soo Bin, the star of "49 Days" and Lee Da Hee, who gave an impressive performance as Prosecutor Seo Do Yeon in "I Hear Your Voice," have signed on to the cast of the upcoming melodrama, "Secrets."

They will join actors Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum. No other parts have been cast.

In the ill-fated romance melodrama Ji Sung will play Min Hyuk, a rich guy with a bad personality. Min Hyuk loses his girlfriend to a hit-and-run accident. He then falls in love with Yoo Jung, played by Hwang Jung Eum. She's the woman who went to prison for causing his girlfriend's death. But she didn't really do it.

She went to prison for her boyfriend who is the real criminal. And he's not a very nice boyfriend. He not only lets her serve prison time and thereby ruins her life. He cruelly abandons her while she is locked up. After she leaves prison, she is determined to start a new life.

Bae Soo Bin will play Do Hoon, her heartless boyfriend. Do Hoon was not always a bad guy. He started out as an idealistic prosecutor but in his hunger to acquire power, his morals became compromised. Saving his career is more important to him than any pain he might inflict on his girlfriend. The price he pays for that power is very high.

Lee Da Hee plays Se Yeon, a woman suffering from unrequited love. After playing the prosecutor to Lee Bo Young's public defender in "I Hear Your Voice," she will now act with Ji Sung, the man Lee Bo Young plans to marry in real life. There is no word yet as to whether Ji Sung will be the person she is in love with.

Ji Sung previously appeared in  "Protect The Boss," "All In," "Save The Last Dance" and "Splendid Days. Hwang Jung Eum, who debuted with the kpop group Sugar, appeared in the dramas "Giant," "Can You Hear My Heart?" "Golden Time and "Incarnation of Money" and the film "A Pig-Like Woman."

Bae Soo Bin also appeared in the dramas "Brilliant Legacy," "Painter of the Wind" and "Jumong." He appears in the films "26 Years" and "Mai Ratima."

Lee Da Hee appeared in the dramas "Birdie Buddy," "I Need Romance" and "Legend" and the film "Harmony."

"Secrets" will follow "Blade and the Petal" and air in September.
