‘Fashion Police’ Host Giuliana Rancic Asked About Kathy Griffin; Former Co-Stars Still Not Civil?
"Fashion Police" host Giuliana Rancic was recenlty asked about Kathy Griffin. In an interview by New York Daily News, the mainstay hinted that she and her former co-star might not be civil yet.
The E! staple was cornered at a breast cancer awareness gala about Kathy Griffin's unexpected resignation as "Fashion Police" host. The redhead comedienne's untimely exit after just seven episodes, along with the departure of former cast member Kelly Osbourne, forced the show to go on a six-month hiatus.
"I can't comment on that," Giuliana Rancic said about her former co-host.
The TV personality then joked that her husband and "Apprentice" winner Bill Rancic might have something to say about the controversy.
"I can't [talk about] it... He can," Giuliana Rancic said while motioning to her husband, who gave the reporters a knowing look.
Even though Giuliana Rancic dodged questions about Kathy Griffin, she and former "Fashion Police" host Kelly Osbourne have been embroiled in a feud prior to the show's hiatus.
The daughter of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne allegedly quit the series after racist comments were said about her friend, Zendaya Coleman. In the Oscars 2015 red carpet review, Giuliana Rancic joked that the teen singer-actress must have "smelled like patchouli oil or weed" for wearing dreadlocks at the Academy Awards.
Hollywood Reporter detailed how the former co-stars seem to still have bad blood for each other. At the 4th Annual NYX FACE Awards in Los Angeles last summer, Kelly Osbourne was frank about how she does not want to work with Giuliana Rancic anymore.
"[Only if] certain people weren't there," Kelly Osbourne said when asked about possibly returning to the hit fashion critique show.
The 30-year-old rock royalty then confessed that she and Giuliana Rancic are still not ok.
"I will never admit to liking Giuliana [Rancic] because I don't," she said. "I don't think she's a good person and I think she's a liar."
