Joey + Rory fame country singers gave up Joey Martin Feek's cancer treatment since the disease was found spreading aggressively in spite of multiple rounds of radiation and chemotherapy.

Joey Martin's husband and co-singer Rory Lee Feek revealed in his blog post on Friday that the couple have decided to end up medical treatment since CT scan 'results revealed cancer spreading aggressively, in spite of radiation and chemotherapy, according to People.

Rory wrote in his disheartening post that at a point of time in life nothing like surgeries, doctors, chemotherapies or even prayers can help a person recover. And there is no other choice than to make the tough decision "enough" with them.

The 40-year-old singer gave birth to their first child India Boon Feek who was born with down-syndrome. Joey Martin was diagnosed with cervical cancer and underwent her first surgery in 2014 four months after their daughter was born. Though Joey Martin was given adequate treatment the disease spread to the sigmoid colon.

While the toddler's mother was preparing herself for new cycles of chemotherapy the CT scans revealed more tumors growing in her abdomen. The disheartened couple gave up their hope on treatment and decided to terminate further procedures meanwhile cancelling their concert dates.

"Not to die. But to live," Rory said in an UPI post.

"To put our hands in each others and sit out on the back porch and watch the sun set as our sweet little baby girl plays on a blanket in front of us. To bask in the glory of the beautiful life He's blessed us with, and try not to question why we can't have more of it together. And why He is allowing this to happen," he wrote, reported UPI.

"The doctors gave us an estimate of how much time they believe that Joey has, and we both looked at the calendar that hangs by our kitchen door, then I took the calendar off the wall and threw in the trash can. So, we don't have forever. We've got right now," Rory added.

Joey + Rory are pushed to point where they no longer need medical treatment but only prayers.
