Which Kdrama Star Would You Bring Home For The Holidays?

Which kdrama stars would you consider bringing home to meet mom and dad?

In time for the Korean fall harvest festival known as Chuseok, a Korean marriage information company asked single people to make a choice among some popular stars.

If you had to bring a star home for the holidays, the survey asked, which star would that be? The selection could not be based on looks and talent alone. That star had to be one you thought your mom and dad would approve of.

The winners of the Duo survey conducted this August were Lee Sang Yoon and Lee Bo Young.

Lee Sang Yoon, who plays Prince Gwanghee in "Goddess of Fire: Jeonji" and appeared in "Life is Beautiful," achieved first place among the men most likely to be welcomed by parents. The 32-year-old star rated 18.9 percent. 

Forty-two-year-old Lee Seo Jin, who was in the hit drama "Damo" and last appeared in the drama "Gybaek," came in second with a rating of 15.9 percent.

Jo Jung Suk, 32, who appeared in "King 2 Hearts" and "You're the Best Lee Soon Shin," got 12.2 percent.  So Ji Sub, 35, the star of "Phantom" and the greedy mall owner in "The Master's Sun" got 11.5 percent.

When it came to actresses, Lee Bo Young, who recently starred as prosecutor Jang Hye Sung in the hit drama "I Hear Your Voice," was voted most likely to please the parents. The 34-year-old star of "Man From The Equator" and "Athena" achieved first place, with a rating of 22.6 percent.

After her came Moon Chae Won, 26, who plays Dr. Cha Yoon Seo in  "Good Doctor," with a rating of 17.6 percent. Kim Tae Hee, 33, who appeared in "Iris" and "Jang Ok Jung reached 14.5 percent.

Song Ji Hyo, 32, who appeared as the lonely queen in the film "A Frozen Flower," a ballerina in "Princess Hours," and is a cast member on the variety show "Running Man" rated 11.3 percent.  

While Lee Sang Yoon and Lee Bo Young were both in notable dramas this year, they recently acted together in the KBS 2 TV drama, "My Daughter Seo Young."

The survey was answered by over 300 single men and women who were in their 30s. If you had to bring a kdrama star home for the holidays, which actor or actress would you choose? Who do you think your parents would approve of? Let us know which stars would get along with your family.
