Lee Da Hee Wants To "Get Married" With MBLAQ's Lee Joon

Fresh from her breakout role as the vengeful prosecutor Seo Do Hyun in "I Hear Your Voice," Lee Da Hee is about to star in a new series "Secret" with Ji Sung, Hwang Jung Eum and Bae Soo Bin. In "Secret" she plays Shin Se Yeon, a woman who despite being engaged to Ji Sung's character, is desperate for love. Her new drama airs on Sept. 25.

But there's another show that she mentioned when she was interviewed this weekend on "MBC's Section TV Entertainment." She talked about "We Got Married," the Korean reality show that pairs celebrities to see if they could really work as a couple.

It all started when the actress was asked which celebrity was her ideal type. At first she tried to avoid answering the question by talking about her mother's preferences.

"That's what my mother always wants to talk about," said Lee, who appeared in "Birdie Buddy" and "Air City." "She seems to really like SHINee's Minho."

But in the end she did answer the question and her answer proved that her tastes differed from her mother's.

"If it was up to me, it would be MBLAQ's Lee Joon," she said.

The next question was which of those two men she would want to be on "We Got Married" with and she had to say Lee Joon.

Later she recorded a video note to him.

"I like watching you on television," she said. "I'll always be cheering for you."

Soon, she will be able to see the singer and actor on the big screen. His new film, "Rough Play," has been confirmed for a release in October. The film tells the story of an actor that quickly becomes famous then discovers all the pleasures and dangers fame can bring. Lee Joon plays the superstar Oh Young.

Lee Joon said it was a project he will never forget and according to director Shin Young Shik, he did a great job of bringing the character to life

"During the filming, I could see that Lee Joon's energy and passion helped him become the character," said Shin.

As to being on "We Got Married," last year Lee Joon was on the reality show, paired up with actress Oh Yeon Seo, who will soon appear in the drama "Medical Top Team." They left the show citing scheduling difficulties but perhaps also because Oh Yeon Seo was seen out with actor Lee Jang Woo and viewers considered that "cheating" on her "We Got Married" husband. Lee Joon may not be up for a do-over with Lee Da Hee, but they would make a cute couple. Drama casting directors, take note.
