Hayden Panettiere Gets Out Of Post-Partum Depression Seclusion To Support Partner Vladimir Klitschko
Hayden Panettiere has been seeking therapy for her post-partum depression, but she still made time to support Vladimir Klitschko who unfortunately lost his belts to Tyson Fury in their heavyweight match over the weekend.
"Hayden Panettiere looked happy and healthy as she cheered on Ukrainian boxer and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko as he fought Tyson Fury at the IBF IBO WBA WBO Heavyweight World Championship contest," said E! News, adding that it marked "her first public appearance since she entered a treatment center to combat postpartum depression."
For the event, Hayden Panettiere showed off her fashion flair by wearing black and white sweater, a grey plaid mini-skirt, stockings and black platform shoes that extends to her calves.
A statement sent to Us Weekly by her rep said, "Hayden Panettiere is voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment center as she is currently battling postpartum depression. She asks that the media respect her privacy during this time."
In an interview with "Live! With Kelly and Michael," Hayden Panettiere expounded on the post-partum depression that she's going through.
"I can very much relate. It's something a lot of women experience," she said. "When [you're told] about postpartum depression you think it's 'I feel negative feelings towards my child, I want to injure or hurt my child.' I've never, ever had those feelings."
Vladimir Klitschko's partner continued, "Some women do. But you don't realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on. It's something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they're not alone, and that it does heal."
Hayden Panettiere gave birth to baby Kaya with her partner Wladimir Klitschko in December last year.
But fortunately, the "Nashville" star is getting better. On Oct. 10, Hayden Panettiere tweeted, "Feeling like I'm #finally coming back in to my own body!mother #daughter #blessing #wellworthit @bonesthenskin."
