'Grandpas Over Flowers' Lee Sun Jae’s Love For Animals: “The Puppy Was Deceased…”

Actor Lee Sun Jae showed his extraordinary love for animals.

On the second episode of tvN's "Grandpas over Flowers - Director's Cut," H4 (Lee Sun Jae, Shin Gu, Park Geun Hyung, and Baek Il Sub) and porter Lee Suh Jin went to Taiwan.

While coming down from the deep valley in Taroko National Park, one of Taiwan's main attractions, Lee Sun Jae said, "What are some animals that live around this area? I don't see a single animal in this huge valley," showing a curiosity that a "friend of a forest" who loves animals would.

Lee Sun Jae said, "Speaking of animals, I used to have a puppy. But it die.. deceased," making everybody surprised.

Then the subtitle came up, "Lee Sun Jae refers to an old puppy using the honorific," making the audience laugh.

Grandpas over Flowers, first aired in July 5, 2013, has been popular, maintaining 5% rating from Europe episodes to Taiwan episodes. Grandpas over Flowers casts are to take a rest after this day's episode. The second season is to come up around January of next year.
