Eugene And Ki Tae Young Join 'Return Of Superman' With Their Baby

Former S.E.S member-turned-actress Eugene and actor Ki Tae Young have joined the cast of the KBS2 variety show, "Return of Superman," along with their baby. 

According to a December 10 article published by OSEN, the entertainment family started filming their first episode for the program on the ninth. 

"Return of Superman," which is also referred to by the title, "Superman Is Back," features fathers in madcap scenarios with their children, while the mothers are away. 

The popular show premiered with a three-episode pilot in September 2013, as part of Chuseok or harvest festival programming, before it was officially added to KBS' Happy Sunday lineup.

Eugene and her family join "Return of Superman," following the October 2015 departure of actor Uhm Tae Woong, who appeared with his daughter, Uhm Ji On.

Other current cast members include comedian Lee Hwi Jae and MMA fighter, Choo Sung Hoon, who have appeared on the show with their children, since the premiere. 

Song Il Gook, who wows audiences with his fraternal triplets, and Lee Dong Gook, who is the father to five children, also continue to appear on the program. 

"Return of Superman" continues to win over audiences, with past cast members like Epik High's Tablo and his daughter, Haru, garnering attention after their run on their program. 

Eugene and her husband were married in May 2011. The couple met and fell in love on the set of the 2009 series, "Creating Destiny." 

The pair was previously the subject of a reality show titled "Super Couple Diary," which focused on the daily lives of celebrity couples. 

In April 2015, Eugene delivered their first child, Ro Hee. She returned to television with the 50-episode weekend drama, "All About My Mom," in August 2015. 

Meanwhile, Ki Tae Young recently concluded his role as Kang Joon Soo in the 12-episode KBS2 drama, "The Virtual Bride," a series also known as "The Eccentric Daughter-In-Law."
