On December 9, actress Park Shin Hye reached a social media milestone in China. Park proved her growing popularity by surpassing 10 million followers on the Chinese social media network Weibo.

According to her agency, S.A.L.T. Entertainment, she is the first Korean actress to surpass 10 million Weibo followers. "We think Park Shin Hye owes her international popularity to her unique liveliness, the hard work she puts into her roles and her sincere efforts to communicate with fans," said a statement by the agency.

Park Shin Hye's most recent fan engagement tour, the 2015 Asia Tour, Dream of Angel tour, concluded with a September fan meeting in Chengdu, China.
