Yoo In Na Considering A Role In "Man From The Stars"

After playing the love interest of a time-traveling courtier in the fantasy saeguk, "Queen Inhyun's Man," Yoo In Na is considering a role in "Man From The Stars." It's a drama about an alien who has lived on earth since the Joseon era.

Playing an actress who plays Queen Inhyun and then falling for a man that actually knew Queen Inhyun was Yoo In Na's first leading drama role. But it looks like a role in "Man From The Stars" would have to be only a supporting role. Since Jun Ji Hyun has been cast in the leading female role in "Man From The Stars," it's unclear exactly who Yoo In Na would play.

And at one point So E Hyun the star of "Who Are You?" was being courted for the second lead in the alien drama. No word has been given as to whether she opted out or why she might have done so.

According to Yoo In Na's agency, YG Entertainment, the actress is still considering the role and nothing has been decided.

"It is true that Yoo In Na received a casting offer for "Man From the Stars but her casting is not confirmed," said the YG representative. "We are reviewing the details."

A role has also been offered to Jung Yunho, a member of the popular band TVQX. He appeared in "Queen of Ambition."

Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun have already been confirmed," said an SBS representative. "Although nothing is definite yet, there's a strong possibility that Yunho will also be cast."

Yunho is considering playing the second lead, Jun Ji Hyun's fiancée.

Kim Soo Hyun, the star of the film "Secretly Greatly" and the dramas "The Moon Embracing The Sun" and "Dream High," will play Do Min Jeon, the alien, a creature blessed with paranormal abilities and good looks. But despite his good fortune, he has become pretty cynical about the human race after living among them for centuries.

During the 400 years of his stay on earth he has never fallen in love. But since there is a first time for everything, he falls in love with an actress Cheon Song Yi, played by Jun Ji Hyun.  Jun previously appeared in the film "Thieves" and the comedy "My Sassy Girl."

Yoo In Na was cast in her first leading film role last year in the film "Pure Couple." She also starred in the weekend drama "You're The Best Lee Shin Soon."

The drama is expected to air in December.

Jang Tae Yoo will direct. Park Ji Eun wrote the screenplay.
