Actress Kang So Ra has dropped out of the upcoming drama "Hello My Precious Person."

On December 9 it was reported that Lee Min Jung was also considering a role in that drama  and it is likely that iit is the same role that Kang So Ra previously considered taking. While some publications say that Lee has already confirmed her participation in the drama, as of December 9, her agency said nothing had been decided.

"Lee Min Jung is reviewing the script and has not yet decided whether to take the role," said a representative from her agency MS Team Entertainment.

An SBS representative also told the Korean media outlet OSEN that her drama participation is still under discussion.

"Nothing has been confirmed."

Kang So Ra and Rain were offered the leading roles in November.

The fantasy comedy is reportedly based on a Japanese novel titled "Seven Days of Director Tsubaki Yamaguchi." The novel tells the story of a businessman who gets to return to earth for seven days after he dies and take care of some important business that he did not get to resolve. But there is a hitch. He has to take care of that business in another body.

Singer-actor Rain will reportedly play the businessman who gets one more chance to make things right.

The role Lee Min Jung is up for is that of Shin Dae Hye, the perfect daughter-in-law, one who is kind, dutiful, and frugal. But there has to be a catch, as no one can really be that perfect.

Kang So Ra was last seen in the comedy "Warm and Cozy," which was set on Jeju Island. Lee Min Jung has not appeared in a drama for two years. She was last seen in the comedy "Cunning Single Lady."

"Goodbye, My Precious One" will air after "Remember" ends in February.
