"Friend 2" Kim Woo Bin: Busan Dialect Felt Like Foreign Language

Actor Kim Woo Bin said, "Busan dialect in movie 'Friend 2' felt like a foreign language to me," in the production report of "Friends 2" last Friday. 

Kim Woo Bin said, "Director Kwak Kyung Taek gave me a recorded tape before filming. I practiced with the tape, and received a lot of help from the actor colleague who is from Ul-san.

Kim Yoo Bin in the film plays Choi Sung Hoon, who is imprisoned as a leader of a rumble, meets Joon Suk (You Oh Sung) in the prison, and becomes a member of his gang.

"Friends 2" is a prequel of "Friends" of Jang Dong Geun and You Oh Sung, which primiered in 2001 and gathered over 800 million audiences. It is a story about Joon Suk, who comes out of the prison for allegedly having killed Dong Soo after 17 years, and meets Dong Soo's son, Sung Hoon. 

Kwak Kyung Taek of "Friends" directed the film, and You Oh Sung, Kim Woo Bin, and Joo Jin Mo star in the film. It is to premier in November of 2013.
