January is already turning out to be a good month for dramas with the refreshingly different webtoon-based "Cheese In The Trap," starring Park Hae Jin, Kim Go Eun and Seo Kang Joon," and the action-packed "Moorim School," starring Lee Hyun Woo and Shin Hyun Joon.

Viewers may not have tuned in yet but January 14 saw the premiere of "Detective Alice," starring Kim Nam Joo and Jo Dong Hyuk. Kim plays Chun Yeon Joo, a Food and Drug Administration investigator, who teams up with her partner to take down a food safety violator. The clues she uses to solve this case are her extremely sensitive taste buds.

What's up next?

K-dramaland has more drama goodness in store for us. Here are a few dramas that are expected to air in January via the content provider DramaFever.

January 19 is the day viewers can see "Puck," the miniseries starring Lee Kwang Soo and Son Soo Hyun. Lee plays Jo Joon Man, a man crushed by debt and recently divorced. He works as a loan shark for a mob boss to pay off his debt. While collecting debt from an ice hockey coach, he joins the ice hockey team.

The very next day on January 20 you can see Jung Il Woo romance Jin Se Yeon in "High End Crush." Jin plays the penniless artist Yoo Yi Ryung. Jung plays Choi Se Hoon,  the CEO of the company that she signs with. He falls for her and it's the first time he's fallen in love. It's a life-changing experience.

"Madam Antoine" premieres on January 22. Han Ye Seul, last seen in "Birth of a Beauty," plays fortune teller Go Hye Rim. She's pretty perceptive so people think she has magical abilities. She takes part in a test designed to debunk the existence of love. That's how she meets the cynical psychologist Choi Soo Hyun, played by Sung Joon, last seen in "High Society." Will the test prove love exists?

January 22 is also the premiere day for the paranormal thriller "Signal." In this drama two detectives, played by Lee Je Hoon and Kim Hye Soo, try to solve crimes based on the real-life Hwaseong Serial Murders. They get some help from a detective investigating in the past. He communicates with them through a mysterious radio frequency. The detective hope to alter history by researching over 20,000 suspects and their motives.

January 25 is the premiere date for "Neighborhood Hero," starring Park Shi Hoo and Kwon Yu Ri. Park plays a former secret agent who decides to leave his life of danger to run a local bar called "Neighborhood." As the owner of a bar he hears a lot about neighborhood crime and decides to do what he can to prevent it. He takes a young manunder his wing and the two secretly fight crime.

January 27 is the start date for "Missing Korea." This drama imagines a beauty pageant that has contestants from both North and South Korea. Although the pageant seemed like a good idea, nothing goes quite according to plans in this six-episode drama.
