"Jung Yi, The Goddess of Fire" Finale Reveals No Romance for Moon Geun Young and Lee Sang Yoon

There was no romance on the finale of "Jung Yi, The Goddess of Fire." 

The last episode of "Jung Yi, The Goddess of Fire" aired on October 22, 2013. On that episode, You Jung (Moon Geun Young) left to Japan alone to save the Bun Won people's lives.

"Jung Yi, The Goddess of Fire" had gained the public's expectations even before its first episode, because of its casting. Moon Geun Young was casted on as the first woman sagijang You Jung early on, and Lee Sang Yoon, whose role in KBS 2TV "My Daughter Suh Young" garnered the public's attention, was casted as King Kwang Hae. 

However, "Jung Yi, The Goddess of Fire" showed slow development of the romance line and the story, ranking at the bottom of all Monday Tuesday dramas.

Starting from next week, MBC will play "Qi Empress," starring Ha Ji Won and Joo Jin Mo on Monday and Tuesday nights.
