In "Signal" the ending of the Kyeonggi serial murder was revealed.

On the 4th episode of tvN Friday/Saturday drama "Signal" (script Kim Eun Hee, director Kim Won Suk) broadcast on Jan. 30th, Lee Jae Han (played by Jo Jin Woong) of 1989 received the walkie talkie call of Park Hae Young (played by Lee Je Hoon) of 2015 and went to rescue the woman Kim Won Kyung (played by Lee Shi Ah) who he had a crush on.

Profiler Park Hae Young (played by Lee Je Hoon) of 2015 called him on the walkie talkie and talked about the 9th incident of the Kyeonggi serial murder.  He said, "At 9:30PM on November 7th in the alleys of Hyun Poong Dong, an employee of city hall Kim Won Kyung was murdered.

Jae Han looked through the alleys and found a man. He was none other than Lee Chun Goo (played by Kim Ki Chun) and was the first witness that Jae Han had went to.  Hae Young heard the police officers say that "The bus driver Lee Chun Goo was the culprit." At this, he said, "That can't be it. At that time, the person was driving a bus so the profiling isn't right." With that, he was very startled.

Meanwhile, "Signal" is about two detectives - one from the past and one from the present who communicate through walkie talkies to resolve long-time unresolved cases.
