'Signal' Kim Hye Soo Releases DNA Evidence
In "Signal" Kim Hye Soo brief the Kyeonggi serial murder.
On the 4th episode of tvN Friday/Saturday drama "Signal" (script Kim Eun Hee, director Kim Won Suk) broadcast on Jan. 30th, the long term unresolved murder team started to investigate the incidents involving the Kyeonggi serial murder.
In 1989, Cha Soo Hyun (played by Kim Hye Soo) followed the backs of the 95 bus that was the common ground of the murder incident and learned that in that bus, Lee Chun Goo (played by Kim Ki Chun)'s son Lee Jin Hyung was there. Soo Hyun went to the place where there was a culprit and had a physical fight. However, at that time in the news, there was a caption that said, "The serial murderer, confessing for the first time in 26 years." With that, it had turned out that Lee Chun Goo had falsely confessed to protect his son.
On this day, Kim Beom Joo (played by Jang Hyun Sung) the lead investigator of the police bureau started to undergo a briefing in front of many reporters. The culprit had been decided to be Lee Chun Goo.
Nonetheless, Soo Hyun came in at that time and Beom Joo said, "Cha Soo Hyun who had investigated this case will take on the briefing." Soo Hyun released evidence that Jin Hyung was the real culprit.
Meanwhile, "Signal" is about two detectives - one from the past and one from the present who communicate through walkie talkies to resolve long-time unresolved cases.
