In "Signal" the reality of the grand theft case was like the movie "Veteran" where it was the corruption of those who were the "haves."

On the episode of tvN Friday/Saturday drama "Signal" (script Kim Eun Hee, director Kim Won Suk) broadcast on Feb. 6th, Lee Jae Han (played by Jo Jin Woong) waited outside the house of the suspect Han Se Kyu to get real evience.

On this day, Jae Han went around all over to find evidence.  Hearing about the corruption in the modern day society, Jae Han was frustrated yet empowered to make change.

Before this, Jae Han went to Han Se Kyu who was the only witness of the real theft case. He said, "You said you saw a suspicious person going to the bathroom. Is it right that this person jumped out of the east window? No one even saw their face." Han Se Kyu said, "Yes" and made excuses, as they were tyring to go into the house.

Jae Han said, "You actually said it was the other window" and talked about the fact that there was no  actual culprit on the day.  Kyung Tae (played by Jung Suk Young) was falsely framed to being a guilty person and Han Se Kyu had crafted a false witness testimony.

Meanwhile, "Signal" is about two detectives - one from the past and one from the present who communicate through walkie talkies to resolve long-time unresolved cases.
