'Signal' Kim Hye Soo's Life is Dependent on 1995 Jo Jin Woong
In "Signal" there was a revenge started by a father who had no choice but to see his daughter die.
On the episode of tvN Friday/Saturday drama "Signal" (script Kim Eun Hee, director Kim Won Suk) broadcast on Feb. 6th, Oh Kyung Tae (played by Jung Suk Yong) kidnapped Shin Yeo Jin as soon as he left prison.
Oh Kyung Tae's real target wasn't Shin Yeo Jin. This was Shin Yeo Jin's father Shin Dong Hoon. In the past, Shin Yeo Jin and Oh Kyung Tae's daughter Oh Eun Ji (played by Park Shi Eun) were both victims of the demolition of Hanyoung bridge.
At that time, Oh Kyung Tae had been pushed as the culprit for grand larceny. Oh Kyung Tae had his handcuffs on and had no choice but to watch his daughter die. He was able to save Eun Ji but Shin Dong Hoon who was of high class asserted that they needed to save Yeo Jin first. In that process, he lost his life.
Meanwhile, "Signal" is about two detectives - one from the past and one from the present who communicate through walkie talkies to resolve long-time unresolved cases.
