Kim Min Joon To Play The Dad In 'Babysitter'

Remember Kim Min Joon's character in "One More Happy Ending?" He's the handsome man who sweeps Yoo In Na's character off her feet. She falls so hopelessly for him that she buys him expensive presents and gives him money.

Then his wife shows up.

Kim Min Joon has just taken another role in the upcoming drama "Babysitter" and it's also that of a cheating husband. Or maybe one who wants to cheat. The description for the upcoming drama says that he's the father of three children and he has a questionable relationship with his babysitter.

The four-episode drama tells the story of an upper class couple who hires a babysitter to watch their three kids. She's a top notch babysitter candidate as she has a literature degree and speaks several languages. But she's such an attractive candidate she also attracts the attention of Sung Won, the children's dad.

Kim has appeared in more than a dozen films and dramas. His recent roles include playing teachers in both "Hidden Identity" and "Seonam Girls High School Investigators." He also appeared in the 2015 film "Musudan."

So far he is the only member of the cast that has been confirmed.

Last week it looked as if Goo Hara might make her comeback in "Babysitter" but she eventually opted out. She was up for the role of the babysitter Jang Suk Gyu, but according to News 1 Korea, she ultimately turned down the role. It would have been Goo Hara's comeback role since her last major drama role was in "City Hunter," which also starred Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young.

Actress Jo Yeo Jung, who appeared in "Divorce Lawyers in Love,"  is currently considering the role of Kim Min Joon's wife in "Babysitter."

The mystery thriller is scheduled to air in March after the completion of "Moorim School," which was originally supposed to have 20 episodes but has been cut to 16 episodes.
