'Signal' Jo Jin Woong Hugs Kim Hye Soo
In "Signal" Jo Jin Woong was greatly helpful to his police officer underclassmen Kim Hye Soo.
On the 10th episode of tvN Friday/Saturday drama "Signal" (script Kim Eun Hee, director Kim Won Suk) broadcast on Feb. 20th, the long term unresolved mystery team started to look into the serial murder incident of Hong Won Dong.
The detective Cha Soo Hyun (played by Kim Hye Soo) almost became the third victim of the 1997 serial murder incident. After being absent for three days, Lee Jae Han (played by Jo Jin Woong) ended up going to her house.
Soo Hyun shed tears and said, "I'm not fit to be a detective. I can't do this. Whenever I hear the sound of a bag rustling, I get so scared and I feel like my heart is going to explode. I keep thinking of the things that day. I'm scared of the alleyways and I'm scared of bodies. I'm scared of culprits. This can't be. I don't have the privilege. I don't think I can be a police officer any more." With that, she decided that she was going to give up being a police officer.
Meanwhile, "Signal" is about two detectives - one from the past and one from the present who communicate through walkie talkies to resolve long-time unresolved cases.
