'Signal' Hong Won Dong Murderer Is A Victim of Abuse
In "Signal" Lee Sang Yeop was a victim of child abuse.
On the 10th episode of tvN Friday/Saturday drama "Signal" (script Kim Eun Hee, director Kim Won Suk) broadcast on Feb. 20th, Cha Soo Hyun (played by Kim Hye Soo) who was the victim of the serial murder went forward to break down her wall of trauma and was more active in the investigation.
On this day, Lee Sang Yeop, the culprit of the Hong Wong Dong murders thought back to his childhood. Lee Sang Yeop was a victim of child abuse.
His mother said, "I want to keep you warn" and put the young Lee Sang Yeop in a bag. With that, she would force the young Lee Sang Yeop to eat. By coincidence, she brought home a dog and said, "I wanted to keep the dog warm." Nonetheless, after finding the dog dead in the bag, he was in shock.
As Lee Sang Yeop became an adult, he thought of the abuse from his mother and was in pain.
Meanwhile, "Signal" is about two detectives - one from the past and one from the present who communicate through walkie talkies to resolve long-time unresolved cases.
