Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin Offered Lead Roles in Korean Drama Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim
Yoo Yeon Seok (Warm and Cozy) and Seo Hyun Jin (Oh Hae Young Again) have been offered lead roles in the new SBS drama Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim. Well, that's an awkward title. Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim is about a talented doctor who quits his job to live as a doctor in a secluded neighborhood. He meets some younger doctors and becomes a sort of mentor to them.
Yoo Yeon Seok would a play a man who became a doctor to best his rival while Seo Hyun Jin became a doctor to get recognition. An offer is also out Han Seok Kyu (Secret Door) for the role of the mentor doctor.
The drama comes from the writer of Gu Family Book and King of Baking, Kim Tak Gu. The PD's previous works include You're All Surrounded, Giant, and History of Salaryman.
Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim is looking to air in November on SBS.
