At the BFI London Film Festival, the 'House of Hummingbird' had its first world premiere and has been nominated for its debut competition, specifically one of the official competition categories. The award went to "Atlantis," the winner of the Cannes Film Festival Jury Award, but the 'House of Hummingbird' won a special prize and won 28 medals against films around the world.

The judges said, "I would like to award a special prize for this film. 'House of Hummingbird' is a work that tells a remarkable ambiguity of human relationships. Based on the fact that emotions are always contradictory and changed over time, questions are asked about friends, family, and relationships. It is a work that has a very profound insight into human existence," they said.

On the other hand, the film's leading actress Park Ji-hoo was nominated for Best Actress at the 13th Asia Pacific Screen Awards. Park Ji-hoo attracted a lot of attention to her first-ever feature film 'House of Hummingbird' by perfectly expressing the character of Eun-Hee's intricate inner feelings and delicate acting, trying to find his place in Seoul, where industrialization was occurring in the early 1990s.
