Kim Sun Ah Talks About Her Portrayal Of The Character Kim Sam Soon

Kim Sun Ah, the actress who portrayed the role of the chubby patisserie Kim Sam Soon in the 2005 hit drama "My Name Is Kim Sam Soon", confesses that she is tired of people asking about how she lost weight after the drama.

On November 1, she made a guest appearance in SBS's "Cultwo Show" where she talked about her most popular character to date. She said, "After Sam Soon was finished, I worked hard to shed off pounds and go back to my original weight, and I've been maintaining it since then."

The hosts of the program commented that her character made a mark in the minds of the Korean people, and her portrayal of Sam Soon is so strong that they forget her actual self. The actress agreed by saying that people don't really relate her to the character, but they recognize Sam Soon's voice from her.

Meanwhile, Kim Sun Ah is promoting her movie "The Five", which also stars Ma Dong Seok, Shin Dong Geun, Lee Chung Ah and others. It is a drama-thriller based off a web cartoon of the same title which is about a woman who plots to take revenge against those who murdered her family.

"The Five" will premiere on November 14.
