“Black Money” Surpasses 1 Million Tickets Sold And Tops The Box Office

The movie "Black Money," directed by Ji-young Jung, took first place on the fifth day of its release. It was released last November 13th and has remained in the top spot of the box office ever since. In particular, during the weekend, 78,141 people lined up, surpassing a total of 1 million tickets since its premiere. The cumulative number of tickets sold is 1.0535 million.

This movie is the new release of Jung Ji-young who directed "Nam Young-dong 1985" and "Broken Arrow." It is based on a real story about a prosecutor named Yang Min Hyuk who is known for being headstrong. He ends up in a complicated situation because of a suspect who commits suicide. When he is trying to clear false charges, he faces the true nature of a huge financial scandal while investigating a case to clear himself of suspicion.
