IU Confirmed To Star Alongside Park Seo Joon In A New Movie
Korean drama fans are in for a sweet flick for it was announced than an upcoming film will be released this 2020 and the stars that will act in it are our favorites, Lee Ji-eun who is famously known as IU and Park Seo Joon, the guy who has made us swoon in every Korean drama that he has starred in.
Knowing that IU and Park Seo Joon has a lot of supporters, the upcoming film will be something that the fans will be anticipating about. It was announced that the film's working title is "Dream". On the third day of January, IU was confirmed to be in the movie alongside actor Park Seo Joon in October 2019. The news was verified by a source from the film as well as IU's agency, KakaoM.
IU is known to be gifted in music, but she has also molded her acting career and caused her surging fame because of all the successful dramas that she has starred in. She is famous for her films such as Dream High, You're the Best, Lee Soon-shin, Pretty Man, The Producers, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, My Mister, Persona and the drama that she starred in recently, Hotel del Luna.
Park Seo Joon is also with raging success for the films that he starred in such as dramas Kill Me, Heal Me, She Was Pretty, Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, Fight for My Way, and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, and the films Chronicles of Evil, Midnight Runners and The Divine Fury. He also appeared briefly in the award-winning film called Parasite and is starring in the upcoming drama based on a webtoon called "Itweon Class".
The drama will be directed by director Lee Byung Hun, who has also directed several successful and hit dramas such as "Extreme Job" and "Melo is my Nature". The drama will tell the story of people trying out for the homeless world cup, an annual international soccer event. The coach, Yoon Hong Dae who is a professional soccer player on disciplinary probation for he was caught up with an unfortunate event.
He will be portrayed by Park Seo Joon. On the other hand, IU will be portraying a woman who is sincere and very supportive of the team, but IU's character has not been entirely described yet and more details about her role are yet to be released in the near future. Given the talents and gifts that both actors have, fans are anticipating how well they will be performing in the drama. Not to mention, the chemistry that they will be showing in the drama will surely leave us happy and in love. A lot of fans are very thrilled and excited for the upcoming film starring their favorite idols.
