"Tale of Nokdu" Jang Dong Yoon To Star In An Action Film
On January 7, 2020, it was announced and confirmed that Jang Dong Yoon will be starring on a new action film entitled: "Run Boy Run". It was also stated that Jang Dong Yoon is currently in the middle of filming the movie.
According to the report of the Agency of Jang Dong Yoon, he wanted to star in the action movie, Run Boy Run, because he knew that it was a low budget film so he wanted to add strength to the drama so that through him, a lot of people may know that there are more to low budget films.
The upcoming film will be directed by Director Oh Won Jae, who has also directed several successful short films such as "Bad Boy" in the year 20014, "True or False" in 2014 and "The Hunting" in the year 2015. His first feature film is called the" Land of the Strangers" which led him to be included in the 19th Jeonju International Film Festival.
The movie is also produced by Oasisenti, the person who also produced the film "Marionette". The film reported that the drama will be action-packed and will include a surprising transformation of Jang Dong Yoon's acting.
The action-drama movie, "Run Boy Run", will be about Jang Dong Yoon's character running away from the past days that people want to run away from but cannot easily get away and are unable to do so. It was reported that the action-drama series started filming in the middle of December and after long hours of filming, the action drama series is expected to finish this January 2020.
After finishing his acting in the KBS' successful drama, "The Tale of Nokdu", he took part in the 2019 KBS Entertainment Awards participating as the host. Jang Dong Yoon is also talked about that he will be starring in the new OCN military drama entitled "Search."
