During the British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards ceremony that held this year 2020, the Korean film "Parasite" won and took home two trophies. This February 2 local time the British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards was held in London at the Royal Albert Hall.

The firm's director Bong Joon Ho was present at the ceremony alongside Star actor Song Kang Ho. The same with almost all of this season's award ceremonies, the director and actor do not go home empty-handed. They were able to sing two awards during this said ceremony.

The film "Parasite" took home the BAFTA for Best Film Not in the English Language, as well as the award for Best Original Screenplay. Both director Bong Joon Ho and writer Han Jin Won share screenwriting credits for the film.

While accepting his BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay award, director Bong Joon Ho stated that since the film "Parasite" was written in a foreign language, he did not expect that he would receive such an award. He gave thanks to the British Academy of Film and Television Arts for showing the movie so much love. He then continued that he spent and gave a lot of time writing in cafes and never did he ever imagined that he would be standing at the Royal Albert Hall.

Currently, "Parasite" is the second Korean film in history to acquire the BAFTA for Best Film Not in the English Language. The first Korean film was Park Chan Wook's "The Handmaiden" in 2018.

We give compliments and congratulations to Bong Joon Ho, Han Jin Won, and the cast and crew of the film "Parasite!"
