Another highly anticipated winter drama "You Came From The Stars" has begun its production with a script reading session of its cast and staff.
On October 14 at the SBS Ilsan Production Center in Gyeonggi Province, director Jang Tae Yoo and writer Park Ji Eun, as well as the drama's roster of actors such as Jun Ji Hyun, Kim Soo Hyun, Yoo In Na, Park Hae Jin and others, were seen in attendance during the event.
Jun Ji Hyun, who is making her small screen comeback after 14 years, lit up the room with her goddess-like appearance and youthful charms. She will be playing the role of Chun Song Yi, the popular Hallyu actress in the drama.
Kim Soo Hyun plays the role of Do Min Jun, the alien who has been living on earth for 400 years, and he respectfully greeted his seniors on the set.
According to director Jang Tae Yoo, he was very pleased with the outcome of their first event. He said, "The actors are better than I imagined. Even though it's our first day, everyone came prepared for their roles and it's hard to believe that it's our first time to rehearse. I look forward to working with everyone."
"You Came From The Stars" is a romantic drama based on accounts from Joseon Dynasty records about an unidentified flying object in 1609. It will portray a romance between a Hallyu actress and an alien who landed on Earth 400 years ago.
The drama is expected to air on December after the conclusion of "The Heirs".
