Go Soo In Talks to Star in Forthcoming OCN Mystery-Thriller Drama

Famous Actor Go Soo may be appearing in a new mystery-thriller series. The OCN network announced its 2020 lineup of dramas and his presumed upcoming drama, 'They Were There', is actually included in the list.

JoyNews24 issued a report yesterday, March 5,  that actor Go Soo has received an offer to be a cast member in the upcoming OCN drama titled 'They Were There', and he is currently reviewing it. The drama was originally known as 'Missing' but changed the title eventually. This mystery-thriller drama is set in a town of souls in South Korea. 

To give a reaction to the said report, the actor's agency BH Entertainment said that Go Soo is optimistic about the project offer, and OCN informed Newsen that he is positively considering his role.

This drama is under discussion for the second half of the year according to the network. As of the writing, the exact premiere date and cast have not been decided yet.

Born and raised in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea, Go Soo is the youngest son in their family. His college days were spent in Sangmyung University, Cheonan campus, where he took up the major in Cinema degree.

From the time that Go Soo first came to Seoul, he tried acting on stage but at that time he was financially incapable, so he made the decision to put his stage acting on hold and eventually stopped. Then, he started giving out his profile photo to a number of agencies. He was first seen in a soft drink TV commercial, and then he became an extra in the 1998 music video 'Last Promise' by the band Position. In the year 1999, Go Soo made his television debut in the MBC sitcom 'My Funky Family' and 'Jump' before starring in the KBS2 drama series 'Ad Madness'. 

In Goo Soo's television drama called 'Piano' in 2001, he received critical praise for his performance. Fast forward to the year 2004, the actor made his first big screen debut in the film titled 'Some', where he played the role of a drug crime officer. In this film, he performed his own stunts and became the recipient of Best New Actor at the Grand Bell Awards. 

Go Soo started dating Kim Hye-yeon, who is an art student eleven years younger than him. The couple tied the knot on February 17, 2012 at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. The lovely couple now has three children: two sons and a daughter. Their first son was born last January 28, 2013, and their daughter was welcomed on April 17, 2015. Then, on September 13, 2017, his wife gave birth to their 3rd child, who is their 2nd son.
