In Case You Missed It, Here's The Episode 5 Recap of 'Hi Bye, Mama'

Cha Yu Ri (Kim Tae Hee) finally met her best friend Go Hyun Jung (Shin Dong Mi) in the latest episode of 'Hi Bye Mama'. She decided to take care of her daughter Jo Seo Woo (Seo Woo Jin) every day in the nursery school, even from afar.

Cha Yu Ri finally confessed to Go Hyun Jung, Gye Geun Sang (Oh Eui Shik) and Jo Gang Hwa (Lee Kyu Hyung). She told them about her situation and asked them to give her the chance to settle everything. She asked to do everything for See Woo within 49 days. Cha Yu Ri accepted to work in the nursery school as a kitchen assistant, this gave her the chance to see Seo Woo every day. She also looked out for another group of ghosts who stayed in the nursery school to go away.

Meanwhile, the group of ghosts in the crematorium finally found out that Cha Yu Ri became a human person again. They were all jealous and wanted Cha Yu Ri to do them favors in talking to their relatives. This worried Cha Yu Ri since she only has 49 days to work things out before she goes to heaven or stays in her human body again. The gypsy lady Mi Dong Daek (Yoon Sa Bong) encourages Cha Yu Ri to visit her mother. Cha Yu Ri decided not to do it since her mother has a weak heart.

The nursery parent participation day was the time that Oh Min Jung (Go Bo Gyeol) realized that Cha Yu Ri's face is like Seo Woo's dead mother. During the fruit skewer time with parents and their child. Cha Yu Ri gave extra strawberries to Seo Woo as she remembered that during her pregnancy she ate lots of it. Oh Min Jung surprised as Cha Yu Ri insisted on the strawberries. Cha Yu Ri did not know that Seo Woo is allergic to it until a teacher reprimands her. Jo Gang Hwa was speechless and didn't know what to do. They 're all watching how Oh Min Jung reacts seeing Cha Yu Ri.

Back at home, Oh Min Jung tried to find the old picture of Cha Yu Ri. A memory of the past came back, during their college days how Oh Min Jung had a crush with senior medical student Jo Gang Hwa. She was about to tell him how she felt but she stopped doing so when she heard that Jo Gang Hwa had a girlfriend already. Until such time that she worked in the hospital as a midwife. The day of her first duty was the time Cha Yu Ri rushed to the operating room. Oh Min Jung carried Seo Woo for the first time in the operating room when Cha Yu Ri lost her life. Oh Min Jung saw Jo Gang Hwa outside the baby room looking at Seo Woo. 

In the present times, Oh Min Jung tried her best to raise Seo Woo as a stepmother but she was never expressive in doing so. She gets worried about how Seo Woo would talk and perform in school. Oh Min Jung was thinking of getting a divorce with Jo Gang Hwa since he was never a romantic husband to her. Oh Min Jung was restless about seeing Cha Yu Ri that day, she went to see Go Hyun Jung in her restaurant to talk about something. The moment she opened the door she saw Cha Yu Ri and Go Hyun Jung inside talking. Her face in disbelief.
