Villains make our favorite lead characters stand out as heroes and make the show more challenging. What few characteristics antagonists have to make our heroes sad, mad and frustrated with their lives in each story? Well, villains are clever most of the time that their plans outdo the protagonists. They can't be fools or swayed by words and promises. They are strong and firm in using their power to control. Villains have allies that make your main character hit rock bottom, but that's what makes the story interesting-their quest for vengeance.

There are a lot of twists that make our villains in Korean drama series more promising. Let's name a few of the many villains who we find intriguing in ongoing dramas.

Chairman Jang Dae Hee, played by Yoo Jae Myung in "Itaewon Class," is the chairman of Jangga Corporation. He plans and creates a strategy to make Park Sae Ro Yi's life of success unreachable.

Jang Geun Won, played by Ahn Bo Hyun in "Itaewon Class," is the spoiled eldest son of Chairman Jang Dae Hee. He fights and hurt people around Park Sae Ro Yi's team to make his way around things.

Jin Jong-Hyun, played by Song-Dong Il in "The Cursed," is the chairman of a group named Forest. He practices shamanism which deals with ancestral spirits and demons. The quest is to stop Chairman's Jin Jong-Hyun group and allies by Im Jin-hee, played by Uhm Ji-won, and Baek So-jin, played by Jung Ji-so.

Jo Pil-Doo, played by Kim Yong-Joon in "Game: Towards Zero," is a midnight killer who creates suspense and mystery in the story. He's hard to catch. Detective Joon-young, played by Lee Yeon-hee, and Tae-Pyeong, played by Taec Yeon, join forces to stop him.

Mo Tae Goo, played by Kim Jae Wook, is the villain in the series "Voice." The drama reached season 3 but Kim Jae Wook only appeared in the first season. His character made him popular being a psychopathic killer.

There are several ongoing Korean dramas that we look forward to every week, such as "Nobody knows," "Tell Me What You Saw," "Hyena," "Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life," "Hi Bye, Mama," "Forest," "When The Weather Is Fine," among others.
