“Love Rides The Song” Debuts With A Rating Of 23.5%

"Love Rides The Song" is off to a great start with an impressive rating for its first episode.

According to AGB Nielsen, the drama debuted with a rating of 23.5%, beating its competitors from other networks, MBC's "Aurora Princess", which received 14.7%, and SBS's "Ugly Alert", which received 9.9%. In addition, it almost reached the same rating as the finale of its predecessor "If Intellect, Gamcheon", which ended with a 23.6% rating.

Many are raising their expectations with the drama, especially since daily dramas rarely get such high ratings, and with the first episode at that. At the same time, the viewers are anticipating the chemistry and love story brewing between the main characters.

SISTAR's Dasom, who portrays the role of the main character Deul Im, invited her fans to catch the first episode of the drama which aired last November 4. On her Twitter, she posted, "Finally, tomorrow is the first broadcast! Please give us your interest and support. I will show you my hard work, so please don't forget to tune in!"

In another post, she talked about her similarities with her character. She said, "Song Deul Im and I have a lot in common. Her determination to reach her goal is similar to how I work hard to achieve my dreams."

"Love Rides The Song" airs every Mondays to Fridays at 8:25PM KST.
