Premiere Review & Recap 1: “The World of The Married” Part 2

(Continuation of "The World of The Married" Part 1)

Sun-Woo left the hospital early. She planned to follow her husband after work. She went to Tae-Oh's worksite. At exactly 5 P.M., she saw him get out of the building and headed to his car. He bought flowers and cake. Following her husband, they ended up in the home for the aged care facility where Tae-Oh's mother is staying. Tae-Oh directly went inside his mother's room. Sun-Woo followed and surprised them. She talked about the bouquet of flowers to place in a vase.

When she went out of the room, Tae-Oh followed and asked her if she was fine. Sun-Woo confessed that she had thoughts that he was seeing someone after his work. Tae-Oh assured her that he spends 2 hours each day with his mother after work. Sun-Woo acknowledged his words.

At the nurse station, Sun-Woo asked the nurse for a vase. The nurse gave her one and thanked her husband for the cake. The nurse shared that their mother is very happy to see them since Tae Oh's last visit was New Year. Shocked, Sun-Woo's face turned red. She got confused and didn't know what to do. She turned to ask for help from a young lady named Hyun-Seo while one of her patients asked for a prescription. She gave her the prescription and in return, she asked her for a favor: that Hyun-Seo will follow her husband after work.

They were supposed to celebrate Tae-Oh's birthday with his friend and business partners. Sun-Woo was to pick up the special cake her son requested and while in another scene, Hyun-Seo positioned her car in front of Tae-Oh's building. She followed him until they reached a house. Tae-Oh went inside. Hyun-Seo waited for three hours to check until he got out of the house with a red-haired woman. Hyun-Seo couldn't see her face since it was blocked by the wall.

Hyun-Seo then contacted Sun-Woo and confirmed that her husband is seeing another woman. She requested for a picture but Hyun-Seo took the car plate number owned by the woman. Sun-Woo was devastated by the news. She picked up her son and they headed to the event. Hyun-Seo met her to get the prescription and told her to check the trunk of Tae-Oh's car, believing that there might be evidence there.

At the party, Sun-Woo asked for Tae-Oh's car keys and tried to explain that she was going to get a camera to use. She searched in the trunk and found a bag containing some personal stuff and a phone. Sun-Woo opened the phone and saw a woman's picture. She searched for more and found a photo of Ye Rim and Je Hyuk in a resort. When she checked further, a picture of Tae-Oh and the lady together was taken in the same place as her good friends. No one told her about it.

Sun-Woo checked the messages and there she discovered that her good friend Myung Sook, one of the doctors in the hospital, knew about Tae-Oh's secret affair. Sun-Woo was shocked and felt betrayed by the people around her. She couldn't believe that they knew Tae-Oh has been cheating on her but they never told her about it.
