"The World of The Married" Recap: Ji Sun Woo Meets Husband's Secret Lover

Shocked and in disbelief, the phone contained pictures of her husband Lee Tae Oh with their friends and an unknown woman at a resort. In the second episode of "The World of The Married," Ji Sun Woo discovered that her closest friends have been aware of her husband's secret affair. She felt betrayed and hurt. Then, she recognized the young lady as Yeo Da Kyung, the daughter of her patient and wealthy businessman.

The whole family attended Tae Oh's party. Sun Woo stared at Da Kyung from afar. She thought of killing her husband, but her son came to her realization and woke up from her imagination. She proceeded with the celebration and prepared the cake for Tae Oh. During his birthday speech, Tae Oh acknowledged all their guests. He also thanked his wife Sun Woo for organizing the event

At the end of his speech, he told her "I love you" and everyone cheered. Sun Woo approached Tae Oh at the center and kissed him. Da Kyung saw the married couple's gesture and turned around. Sun Woo felt sick with all that went down in just a day, so she went home early, leaving Tae Oh with the visitors and their son Lee Joon Young. 

While Sun Woo was away, this gave Tae Oh the chance to talk to Da Kyung. They met in the garden, with Da Kyung feeling upset about Tae Oh's message for his wife. He, however, explained that he made fake actions to show people and Sun Woo he cares. Da Kyung threatened him to finish his marriage or else she would do it herself. Tae Oh persuaded Da Kyung to give him time. He reached out to her and gave Da Kyung an intimate kiss.   

Reaching her room, Sun Woo took the suitcase and packed all of Tae Oh's clothes. She planned to make Tae Oh leave the house. A lot of things came into her mind. Suddenly, Joon Young arrived with Sul Myung Sook. Joon Young went to his room and slept.

Sun Woo confronted Myung Sook about her knowledge on Tae Oh's secret affair, and shouted at her for not telling her the truth. Myung Sook asked for forgiveness but to no avail, prompting her to leave. She went to Joon Young's room and remembered that he wanted to spend his baseball camp with his father. Sun Woo felt more confused if she would push through with kicking Tae Oh out of the house or not. Tae Oh arrived late at night drunk and went straight to bed to sleep.

The following morning, Sun Woo prepared breakfast and greeted Tae Oh. She didn't mention that she knew about his affair. She let his son enjoy the activity with his father. Sun Woo went to work while Tae Oh accompanied their son to an overnight baseball camp.

Later in the afternoon, Sun Woo received a new patient in her clinic, none other than her husband's paramour: Da Kyung. She requested for a medical consultation. Sun Woo was surprised to meet her, but she pretended not to know anything about Da Kyung's affair with her husband. Myung Sook saw Da Kyung go inside to Sun Woo's clinic.   

Da Kyung said she has been feeling sick, weak, and has no appetite and that her body is aching. Sun Woo took a blood sample to check any infections and ask her for a urine test. Sun Woo asked Da Kyung if she is sexually active and seeing anyone at the moment. Da Kyung confirmed that she is in a relationship with a married man. Sun Woo contained herself and continued with her notes. Da Kyung continued that the man's wife doesn't know about their relationship.

Sun Woo stood up and checked for a pregnancy test using Da Kyung's urine and it came out positive. She felt shocked. She told Da Kyung about her pregnancy. Da Kyung was stunned and went out to talk to a gynecologist. Myung Sook went to Sun Woo's office and shared that Da Kyung requested for an abortion. 

Tae Oh and Joon Young came back from baseball camp. Sun Woo cooked steak for dinner and happily talked about baseball with her family.

The following morning, Sun Woo waited for Tae Oh for breakfast. She confronted him about his affair but he only denied it, until Myung Sook, the gynecologist, contacted Tae Oh and told him that Da Kyung is pregnant.

Tae Oh left their house and told Sun Woo there were urgent things to do.
