Im Eun-Seob (Seo Kang-Joon) expressed his feelings for Mok Hye-Won (Park Min-Young) through a kiss. In the recent episode of "When The Weather is Fine," Hye-Won was beaming with delight while she was on the way home after sharing a wonderful moment with her beau in the forest. Her auntie was even surprised to see her, obviously in such a bright mood, happily playing with their dog.

The following morning, Eun-Seob went to the city to visit a publishing company while Hye-Won stayed at home feeling frustrated and waiting for his call. The next day, as soon as the two met in the bookstore, she was giving him the cold shoulder. Eun-Seob teased her if she got mad at him.

Then, Hye-Won asked him if he was not happy with her after they kissed. Eun-Seob only smiled and kissed her again to show her that he was happy. They went together to a book launch event where Lee Jang-Woo (Lee Jae-Wook) was assigned to be the emcee.

Inside the function room, Jang-Woo saw Eun-Seob and Hye-Won being happy together. After the show, they all went out for dinner. Hye-Won and Eun-Seob were displaying their affection for each other in front of Jang-Woo, which surprised him. He couldn't stop telling Hye-Won that Eun-Seob liked her since they were young. Hye-Won then asked him when he started to like her. Eun-Seob explained since they met in high school. At a young age, Eun-Seob met Hye-Won in the forest and gave her a beetle to play.

Lim Jong Pil (Eun-Seob's father, portrayed by Kang Shin-Il) went out for a drink with his friend. He got into a fight with one of his friends when he talked indifferently about Eun-Seob. Jong Pil advised them not to contact Eun-Seob when they needed help in the mountain. He didn't want his son to go to the forest anymore. The man shouted that Eun-Seob is not his real son and asked why he cares so much about the boy. Irked, Jong Pil hit the man with his fist.

Eun-Seob and Hye-Won arrived at the scene and heard what the man said. He dragged his father to the cab, leaving Hye-Won behind. Eun-Seob advised her to go home by herself. She went home with Jang-Woo. She asked him about Eun-Seob's family.

Jang-Woo shared with Hye-Won that Eun-Seob's real father left him in the forest, and that he went through a lot at a young age. Jong Pil found Eun-Seob on the sidewalk, freezing from the cold weather. He brought Eun-Seob to their house and raised him as their own.

Hye-Won felt sad hearing what happened to Eun-Seob. Now, she understands why Eun-Seob is not expressive when it comes to his feelings. He grew up more sensitive towards what people knew about his past. Hye-Won felt that deep inside, Eun-Seob longs for an answer where his real father is.

Eun-Seob reached the bookstore ahead of Hye-Won. When their eyes met, Hye-Won embraced him tightly and tears fell down her cheeks. She felt the pain in Eun-Seob's lonely past.
