"The World of The Married" Episode 7 Part 2: Sun Woo Sees Tae Oh After Two Years
The party started and high profile guests came to greet the couple. Cars lined up to get inside the Premium suburban estate. Tae Oh welcomed the guests to get acquainted with them again. All the guests settled and the couple mingled with their friends. Tae Oh brought Joon Young to his new room. He asked Joon Young in the coming days to a sleepover to spend more time with him.
Hyu Jong introduced Da Kyung to the women's group and endorsed her to be a member of the association. No one disagreed and they made a toast to welcome her.
Sun Woo appeared at the front door. Hyu Jong's eyes widened, seeing the ex-wife of Tae Oh. All people of Gosan are aware of their story since Da Kyung is the only daughter of Chairman Yeo. Tae Oh came and asked Sun Woo to leave, but she said getting Joon Young was the only reason she came. Da Kyung followed and faced Sun Woo with a disappointed face. Da Kyung told her that she cannot just barge in since it is a VIP invitation party. Then, Sun Woo revealed her card of invitation and walked away to look for Joon Young.
Sun Woo searched each room on the second floor and called Joon Young's name. An opened room with bright light caught her eyes. As she entered, the modern and elegant furniture filled the room. It's the master's bedroom and the big wedding portrait hangs on the wall, just like what they had before. She was about to leave but Hyu Jong and the women were on their way to the room.
Sun Woo hid in the closet area as the light was off. After the ladies transferred to the next room, Sun Woo turned on the light and saw the nighties silk the same as hers. The perfumes and face products in the table are the same as what she used. Sun Woo shocked by what she saw. Tae Oh made the same replica of Da Kyung's closet as hers.
Sun Woo walked out of the room and bumped at Tae Oh. They exchanged heated words, with Tae Oh telling her he didn't back because of her.
"You are in my past," he said, adding that his life now is Da Kyung and their daughter. Da Kyung, who was at the ground floor, looked around and checked for Tae Oh. She went upstairs and saw Sun Woo leaving their bedroom and hears Tae Oh's voice. Sun Woo looked around at the other side of the house.
The couple gathered the guest, Tae Oh was carrying Jenny, his daughter, while he made his speech. He thanked everyone for coming as they all welcome their family again. Tae Oh kissed Da Kyung showing the guest their love as a husband and wife.
Da Kyung saw Sun Woo and mentioned her name in front of the crowd, telling her that they need to be friends and live peacefully in the community. All heads turned to Sun Woo, waiting for her reply. Sun Woo just looked at her and didn't respond. She made her way out of the house. She found Joon Young in the garden and told him to go home. Kim Yoon Gi waited outside in his car and offered to drive them home.
When they reached Sun Woo's place, Kim Yoon Gi asked Sun Woo not to scold Joon Young but she ignored and thanked him instead. Sun Woo's voice rose when she asked Joon Young about his actions of not telling her his plan. Joon Young answered back that even if he wanted to, Sun Woo would still not to let him go. He quickly ran to his room as Sun Woo felt sadder about her son's reaction. She went to her room and packed a box of all her silk nighties, perfumes, and the wedding portrait at her dressing table.
The next day, Sun Woo got busy at work and checked all the records from the other doctors. She remains the associate director of Family Love hospital for more than five years.
Tae Oh invited director Dr. Kong of Family Love hospital for a dinner together with Myung Sook. While they were enjoying their food, Tae Oh told Dr. Kong that his company will donate a big amount to the hospital, but with a condition. He asked to change the existing associate director to a new one. Dr. Kong was surprised but he promised to check with the BOD about his suggestion.
Sun Woo arrived home and prepared dinner for Joon Young. She felt something strange and saw a shadow passing at their window. She checked with Joon Young and he was settled in his room. As they were about to eat, someone hurled a rock at their window, breaking the glass and bringing shock to the two. Sun Woo hurriedly hugged her son to ask him if he was okay.
