"The World of the Married" is about an almost perfect married couple but collapsed due to a betrayal and infidelity, containing a whirlwind of love and hate. Actress Kim Hee Ae is the lead star portraying as a family physician named Ji Sun Woo, who seems to lead a picture-perfect-like and peaceful family, a loving husband and a good son. Her life began to shift when a crack forms in her happiness and everything starts to fall apart.

The production crew of the series shared last April 23 that starting from the 9th episode of the drama airing on April 24 all the way to episode 16, until the finale will be rated to 19+.

However, as stated from the ninth episode until the finale, for the realness of the drama to be shown, the rating will be shifted back to 19 and above.

The production crew explained that in the second half of the drama which symbolizes the turning point, the psychological battle between Ji Sun Woo and Lee Tae Oh (Park Hae Joon) will start again intensely. The shift in the relationship between the connected characters and the deep complications between them will be uncovered further on the face of an all new different situations. And in order to get hold of the character's escalating conflict more realistically, the production decided to rate the remaining episodes to 19+.

The production crew also stated that they will listen to the concerns being brought up about the broadcasts so far and deliberate on the remaining production process. They went on to thank and express their great gratitude to the viewers who love 'The World of the Married' and ask for the continued support and love.

"The World Of The Married" second half will become even more exceptional and dramatic as Lee Tae Oh's secret lover now turned into his wife Yeo Da Kyung, portrayed by Han So Hee, becomes overloaded with much anxiousness and jealousy. And also, Lee Tae Oh does some tricky schemes to mentally torture his ex-wife, Ji Sun Woo.
