"Good Casting" Recap: The Team To Disband Before Midnight
Chan Mi lost her strength from the abductor after he injected a sleeping shot through her neck. He brought her to his car and drove away from the port. She managed to recover after a while and heard the driver talking to someone. She hits hard his head, and is then he lost consciousness. She took the earpiece and heard Chief Seo's voice on the other line.
CEO Seok Ho worried what happens to Chan Mi as she never answered her phone and only replied to her by text. He left the port and headed home.
Taek Sang killed Pi Cheol Woong and made it look like a suicide to prevent him from testifying in the court. He demanded a large share from Director Myeong's money and threatened him to mess with all his records if he wouldn't give in to his demands. Director Myeong instructed Chief Seo to go after Taek and kill him.
Meanwhile, Mr. Dong got the killer's location and on his way to the airport. He assembled the agents to go after it. He advised Chan Mi that his career is at stake if things are not handled as Chief Seo warned him before.
Later that night, Ye-eun's daughter is used as bait by Ok Chul to get information about the team's secret mission. He set up a tracking monitor to her house and computer while giving her a phone to use only to receive calls from him. Ye-eun recovered So Hui felt scared about what would happen to her daughter while working with the team.
The next day, Chief Seo advises team leader Dong that his team is disbanded and will not operate anymore. Mr. Dong and the rest of the team were shocked to hear the news. Chan Mi rushed to talk to Chief Seo and asked him why he put a tail on her. She was suspicious of his motives. Chief Seo snapped at her and told her about CEO Seok Ho's records that also have a personal connection with her.
Part of their manual as a secret agent that no one should cover someone that they know personally to avoid any biases. Mi Soo was shocked to hear about Seok Ho and Chan Mi's story. Chan Mi left them without any word.
Chan Mi goes to work at HITECH and meets Seok Ho at the elevator early in the morning. He teased her for abandoning him at the port without answering his call. She promised to inform him if something comes up next time. As she opened her computer, she received a video message telling all agents to end the mission and her work at HITECH 12midnight.
Cheif Seo meets Shim Hwa and discusses his failed task in tailing Chan Mi. She warns him to make everything work, or he will not get his promotion as he wanted.
Seok Ho invited Chan Mi for a late dinner. They went out to eat ramyeon, but Chan Mi got a call from Taek. She answered his call and left Seok Ho to finish his meal.
Taek reveals that he didn't kill Pi Cheol. Someone comes in ahead of him, and it was "Michael." He negotiated with Chan Mi to steal Director Myeong's ledger for the video of "Michael." Chan Mi accepted his offer and informed Mi Soon and Ye-eun about it. They are on their own to get the ledger at HITECH the next day.
