Lee Dong Gun and Jo Yoon Hee Declare Divorce After Three Years of Marriage
A marriage of three years with one daughter did not stop the now-former celebrity couple Lee Dong Gun and Jo Yoon Hee to move on their separate ways. The couple ended their marriage as they made a settlement for divorce in Seoul Family Court.
According to King Kong Starship management, agency Jo Yoon Hee, she and Lee Dong Gun have divorced and made settlements at a court in Seoul on May 22.
The agency's statement reads:
"Hello. This is King Kong Starship.
First, we are expressing our regret to deliver this unfortunate news. We are releasing a statement about the reports regarding the divorce of actress Jo Yoon Hee.
We inform you that on May 22, actress Jo Yoon Hee officially divorced actor Lee Dong Gun through divorce arbitration proceedings at the Seoul Family Court.
As we are bringing this sudden news, we are asking for the understanding of the people who congratulated the two and cheered for them on their marriage. Jo Yoon Hee will still work hard to greet you in the future through her activities.

Both actors co-starred in the 2017 TV series, "The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop." They paired up in the drama and went out together in real life. They tied the knot and welcomed their daughter in the same year, 2017.
The agency assures that Jo Yoon Hee will continue to work hard for her fans and take care of her daughter, as she received custody rights.
Meanwhile, a new statement has been released by Lee Dong Gun's agency, FNC Entertainment. The firm said:
"Hello. This is FNC Entertainment. Firstly, we want to express our regret at having to bring this unfortunate news to fans who love Lee Dong Gun. The actor reached the decision of divorce after serious contemplation, and on May 22, he completed the divorce arbitration proceedings at the Seoul Family Court. We apologize for causing concern to many, and Lee Dong Gun will work harder to give a better impression as an actor."
Actor Lee Dong Gun's last TV appearance was in "Leverage" 2019 and his film in "Love Now" 2017. The couple's marriage was never hidden from the public, as during their first wedding anniversary, Jo Yoon Hee cried after Lee Dong Gun forgot about it due to their busy schedule, although the actor clarified that they managed to pull off and made that night romantic as possible.
