Ji Soo Shares His Thoughts on His Genuine and Intense Character in "When I Was Most Beautiful"
The forthcoming drama of MBC network "When I was Most Beautiful," slated to air every Wednesday and Thursday, released its new stills of the headlining actor, Ji Soo!
Also called "When I Was The Prettiest," this drama is about a heart-wrenching story of two brothers who fell in love with the same girl. Beautiful actress Im Soo Hyang will portray the character of Oh Ye Ji, an artist master in creating ceramics. Im Soo Hyang is the first love of Seo Hwan (Ji Soo), the younger brother of Seo Jin (Ha Seok Jin).
After falling in love with Oh Ye Ji, Seo Hwan promised himself that he would pursue his first love and never give up on her no matter what happens. Seo Hwan is the kind of person who shows his sincerity and sentimental side to those people close to him.
As seen in the newly released stills, Seo Hwan appears to have young and innocent energy, wearing his school uniform. After seeing his performance in the dramas "Ping Pong Ball" and "My First First Love," viewers are in deep anticipation to witness the portrayal of Ji Soo as Seo Hwan with his passionate and youthful character.
Ji Soo also expressed his character as a good-hearted and passionate young man. The actor described that his character is warm, serious, and sensitive to others. He also compared his character to healthy organic vegetables, and went on to say that being in character as Seo Hwan, he was able to acquire the feeling that he is the resemblance of a certain time in his youth.
The young actor further explained that in specific terms, he thinks that most people have probably experienced the pain of being heartbroken by your first love, so the audience will surely be able to relate to that point in the drama.
Ji Soo added his wishes and hopes for "When I Was Most Beautiful" to comfort the viewers, especially now that we are in a challenging time.
The drama's production team also expressed that the character of Seo Hwan is an innocent, pure, and smart high school student with a deep reflection of himself. They also described the performance of Ji Soo in this current project that he has been portraying the personality of Seo Hwan's two sides flawlessly.
"When I Was Most Beautiful" drama production teams is asking everyone to keep an eye out for the character of Ji Soo as Seo Hwan, who is yet to be influenced by the outside world and will grow maturely after experiencing being in love for the first time.
"When I Was Most Beautiful" is set to premiere on August 19 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
