The actor talked about the opportunity to appear in this film at the production report of the movie on the morning of the 18th.

"I heard about this movie nine years ago when I was shooting 'A Werewolf Boy,' so I had known it was a space sci-fi movie and about space junk. I heard that it would be very fun. It was fresh, and I was attracted a lot by the spirit of the challenge of doing a space science fiction movie for the first time in Korea," he said.

"Space Sweepers," also known as "Victory," is a story set in 2092 when the crew of the space garbage sweeper named Victory discovered Dorothy, a humanoid robot known as a weapon of mass destruction, and then jumped into a dangerous deal. It is also the first space science fiction film in Korea by director Jo Sung Hee.

Song Joong Ki plays the role of Tae Ho, the pilot of Victory, while Kim Tae Ri plays the young leader, Captain Jang. In addition, Jin Seon Gyu plays the role of engineer Tiger Park, and Yoo Hai-Jin plays the role of Harpoon Robot.

"Space Sweepers" is scheduled to be released on September 23.
