Actor Kim Minseok Talks About Being 30 and How He Feels After Military Discharge
Actor Kim Minseok will be headlining the September issue of the Korean magazine "Star1." As seen in the stills released, the actor was dressed in casual wear for the photoshoot. In one photo, he confidently shows off his sexy body by being shirtless and wearing just a black blazer in front of the camera.
During the interview for the said magazine, the actor expressed how he began his career in the entertainment industry as an actor. Kim Minseok said that he was in training as a singer when he received an opportunity to act. He shared that his experience was enjoyable and would have probably been willing to give up anything for it. He also shared his passion for being "a good actor, as well as a good person."
Kim Minseok then expressed how he felt a week after being discharged from his mandatory military service; he stated that he was so happy but didn't have a social life for quite some time, so he felt a bit anxious about returning to the real world from the military camp.
Then, he was asked to compare himself before and after his military enlistment. The actor commented that he has now entered his 30s and has become more interested in things he was not interested in before and when he's acting, now he thinks he became less worried about the things he was anxious about when he was in his 20's. Being mature enough, he thinks he can be able to do more things now.
The actor had made headlines after his discharge when he caught an individual doing illegal filming at a woman's private body at a café. When questioned about catching a hidden camera criminal, Kim Minseok replied "I just did what I needed to do. I feel ashamed that people paid much attention to me for that deed."

South Korean actor Kim Minseok was born January 24, 1990. He is known for portraying the supporting roles in television series namely: Flower Band (2012), Descendants of The Sun, The Doctors (2016) and Innocent Defendant (2017).
Kim Minseok also joined an audition show for singers on Mnet called Superstar K3. He was present at the preliminary regional audition in Daegu, however, he didn't reach to the group of 11 contestants that were able to compete in the show. Shortly after the said audition, Kim Minseok made his debut in tvN's music youth series Flower Band, portraying the character of an ambitious keyboard player.
On November 16, 2017, reports were released that his contract with Woollim Entertainment had ended and did not renew with the said agency. Later on, it was revealed that he had signed a contract with Respect Entertainment.
