My ID is Gangnam Beauty centers its story on the life of a young and shy girl named Kang Mi Rae (Im Soo Hyang). She experienced being bullied and bashed in her high school days because of her not so good looking appearance.
Then, she decided that it's time for her to start a new in her university and underwent plastic surgery with her hope to being treated like a regular student. The surgery was very successful that she became unrecognizable and eventually attracted unwanted attention from other students.
Birth of a Beauty (2014)
This drama is one that you might find pitiful from the start. It is the story of Sa Guem Ran (Ha Jae Suk) an overweight married woman who takes good care of her husband's grandmother and their family. The sad story of Sa Guem Ran is compared to the life of another character named Sara (Han Ye Seul) who believes to be a girl who just arrived from the States.
