Oh Yoon Ah, Lee Cho Hee, and Ki Do Hoon Bid Farewell As KBS2's "Once Again" Ends
KBS2 TV's "Once Again" weekend drama comes to an end after more than five months and with 100 episodes on air.
On September 13, the hit family weekend drama aired its highly-anticipated series finale. The KBS2 hit drama reached high ratings according to Nielsen Korea on its final episodes. "Once Again" scored average nationwide ratings of 33.6 percent and 34.8 percent of its two parts.
"Once Again" is a comedy-family drama that revolves around the daily lives of the Song family. It shows a unique family setting with a frugal father and a nagging mother, living with their four adult children that faced marriage, work, and family challenges. The drama also includes the life stories of their neighbors, market merchants, and hospital staff which gives brilliant chemistry with the Song family.
The last two finales showed exciting stories with the exciting wedding of Song Da Hee (Lee Cho Hee) and Yoon Jae Suk (Lee Sang Yi). The pregnancy of Song Na Hee (Lee Min Jung) and father-to-be Yoon Gyu Jin (Lee Sang Yeob).
The actors and actresses felt happy and at the same time saddened with the ending of their drama. They all have been in the set for more than five months and it was a heartwarming experience for the cast and crew.
Oh Yoon Ah (39) shared her feelings towards the ending of the drama as the eldest daughter of the family. Her character is Song Ga Hee who takes care of her parents, younger siblings, and gives a sweet romance with a younger man Park Hyo Shin played by Ki Do Hoon (25).
Yoon Ah commented, "Since the start of the first shooting it encountered a lot of things, typhoons, and pandemic. I am glad we completed it safely. When good work is finished, a lot of regrets remain, I will miss the show."
She continued, "More than anything else, I am grateful to the viewers who gave Song Ga Hee sympathy until the end. I hope that the drama will remain to be remembered and that it heals and strengthens everyone through difficult times."
The youngest sibling of the Song family is played by Lee Cho Hee as Song Da Hee. She had issues of having her parent's approval for her upcoming wedding but things went smoothly at the end. This is her comeback drama after a three-year hiatus.
Lee Cho Hee felt surprised by all the wonderful responses she received from the viewers. Lee Cho Hee thanked her co-star Lee Sang Yi as they partnered in the show. The actress shared, "It was fun and I learned a lot because of actor Lee Sang Yi. It would be nice to meet again in another work in the future. Thank you to all who supported me in my character."
Young actor Ki Do Hoon who received much good response on his character as Park Hyo Shin who supported and loved a single mother Song Ga Hee. The actor expressed his gratitude, "It was an honor to work with my respected actors, seniors, directors, and writers. "Once Again" was a great experience to look back on me and I learned a lot. I sincerely thank the viewers who were with me and I tried to act with my heart."
The cast shared their last pictures together and shared them through their individual SNS. It was a happy ending for the whole family.
