[TW] 4 Korean Actors/Actresses Who Passed Away Due to Sickness or Tragic Accidents

We are all aware that there have been quite a number of deaths in the Korean entertainment industry may it be idols or actors/actresses due to suicide over the years.
However, for this particular article, I opted to write the list of Korean actors/actresses who unfortunately passed away due to reasons and causes that are not related to suicide. The list contains of deaths that occurred due to tragic car accidents, sickness as well as those unknown causes that remain as an unsolved case up to this day.
Though most of these incidents happened a long time ago, there might be some readers that are not familiar with the actors/actresses in the list, but let's not forget that they were also part of the Korean entertainment business and had once brought entertainment to our homes. And it's really sad because some of these deaths might or could have been prevented, but other causes were just so tragic that sad to say, no one could do anything about it.
So here are the lists of Korean actors/actresses who passed away due to sickness or tragic accidents:
Kim Joo Hyuk (October 3, 1972 ~ October 30 2017)
On 30 October 2017, Kim Joo Hyuk was involved in a car accident at around four in the afternoon in Gangnam Seoul. Due to the crash, his vehicle was overturned. The actor was immediately rushed to the hospital but unfortunately did not make it and was announced dead after two hours. According to the National Forensic Service, Kim Joo Hyuk died from a cranial fracture incurred during the crash.
Kang Dae Seong (August 22, 1977 - October 30, 2010)
Kang Dae Seong was featured in two box office movies, titled IRIS (2009) and Take Off (2009). October 29, 2010 was a tragic day for his fans when the actor died in a fatal accident on Seong-su Bridge while he was riding on his motorcycle. He was just 34 years old when he passed away.
Han Ji Seong (July 7, 1990 - May 6, 2019)
On May 8, 2019 everyone was shocked when various Korean news outlets released a report that an actress in her late 20s was involved in an accident that caused her death. She was hit by two cars in succession on the Incheon International Airport Expressway. Later on, the identity of the actress was revealed and it was Han Ji Seong. Based on the reports, the accident occurred on May 6 at around 3:50 am KST.
Kim Bon Im
Goo Bon Im reportedly passed away last April 21, 2019. It was revaled by her family that the actress was suffering from what they thought was just a rhinitis but turned out to be nasopharyngeal cancer. She received treatment for a year but sadly her body did not respond to the treatments and after struggling with cancer, Goo Bon Im passed away.
The deaths of these actors and actresses made the fans as well as the Korean entertainment industry sad. Though they are not with us here now, still they have left us beautiful movies and dramas that will entertain us always.
