"Running Man" Star Jeon So Min Seeks True Happiness
Running Man cast Jeon So Min talks about seeking true happiness when asked in her guesting on KBS Joy's Ask Anything. So Min revealed that she is worried about her health condition that after she recovered from her sickness she started thinking about what it means living a happy life.
On October 19, Jeon So Min appeared as a guest on KBS Joy's Ask Anything with co-actor Choi Jeong Won. Lee Soo Geun and Seo Jang Hoon, the show hosts, dresses up like fortune tellers to give pieces of advice for their celebrity guests. Jeon So Min was asked about what concerns her lately. Although So Min is best known for her bubbly attitude and charming personality, the actress bravely opens up something that concerns about her health condition and peace of mind.
So Min revealed that she had a serious sickness earlier this year. Her recovery after her illness made her think about living in a life where she can feel true happiness.
She added, "It's alright for me to work and get really busy, but because it's getting too restless, I'm not able to feel any emotions. Even if I try to relax, I can't see any results, that it's hard for me to establish that balance. I keep on thinking about which side I need to focus on to be happy."
Choi Jeong Won was surprised by how honest Jeon So Min is. Choi said he knows So Min as a bright and cheerful woman that is always talking about positivity. Choi added that she is also someone who is always with alcohol which made So Min burst into laughter.
Aside from worrying about seeking true happiness, So Min also revealed that she had been relying on drinking alcohol. She also added that when she is feeling distressed, drinking makes her truly happy. Furthermore, So Min thinks that time flies by so quickly when drinking.
Seo Jang Hoon, on the other hand, shared with So Min that what's important is how to spend that happy moment. He continued by saying that being happy can be felt at any moment or even relieve stress and conversating with other people, at the same time attend to work the following day. Seo clarifies his point by telling So Min to appreciate absolutely the moments that she enjoys and makes her happy.
Jeon So Min became Running Man's official cast member in 2017 together with the comedian Yang Se Chan. The addition of the two was after Gary departed from the variety show in 2016, which led to the dismissal of the Monday Couple. The two were criticized for their inclusion in the show, but So Min receives more disapproval from the loyal fans of the original cast.
The hate and criticisms had overflowed both in Jeon So Min's personal social media accounts and Running Man accounts. Due to the numerous amount of hate comments and insults the Running Man team shuts their comment section down, a way to protect Jeon So Min from the bashful criticisms.
Running Man will continue to air this year despite having multiple issues that both the show and the cast members have been into. Jeon So Min will continue to be a part of the Running Man team together with Yang Se Chan, Kim Jong Kook, Song Ji Hyo, Jee Seok Jin, Lee Kwang Soo, Ha Ha, and Yu Jae Seok. The variety show is expected to celebrate its 10th anniversary with lots of surprises for the fans.
