"Single in Seoul" is a melodrama about two people with different personalities who meet through a book about the single life. Soon, they rediscover and heal the wounds from their previous relationships and heartbreaks.

The cast and crew of the film held their first-ever script reading and published some lovely photos!

Lee Dong Wook plays Park Young Ho, who enjoys being single. He's a popular lecturer and an online influencer with 300,000 followers. He eventually gets the offer to write a book about his single life.

For newer fans, Lee Dong Wook is a South Korean actor, host, model, and entertainer. He is best known for his leading roles in the television dramas "My Girl" (2005), "Scent of a Woman" (2011), "The Fugitive of Joseon," "Hotel King" (2014), "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" (2016-2017), "Life" (2018), "Touch Your Heart" (2019), "Hell Is Other People" (2019), and "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" (2020).

Furthermore, he's also known as the talk show host, "Strong Heart" (2012-2013), a boy group survival reality show, "Produce X 101(2019), and his American-style talk show "Wook Talk." He is currently starring in the fantasy drama "Tale of The Nine-Tailed" as a nine-tailed fox or gumiho who gives up a mountain God's status to protect and resurrect his one true love. Fate is bound to repeat the same tragedy, but the lovers are in no mood to give in.

Meanwhile, Im Soo Jung will play as Joo Hyun Jin, Park Young Ho's college junior and a skilled editor-in-chief who is in charge of an essay series titled "Single in The City".

Im Soo Jung is a popular and critically-acclaimed South Korean actress. After modeling for teen magazines, she made her acting breakthrough in Kim Jee-woon's horror film "A Tale of Two Sisters" (2003), followed by the popular television drama "I'm Sorry, I Love You" (2004).

She has since appeared in numerous films, notably Park Chan-wook's "I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK" (2006), "Hur Jin-ho's Happiness" (2007), Lee Yoon-ki's "Come Rain, Come Shine" (2011), and Min Kyu Dong's "All About My Wife," where she won Best Actress at the 33rd Blue Dragon Film Awards.

In February 2017, she joined "Chicago Typewriter" alongside Yoo Ah In, which marked the actress's small screen comeback after thirteen years since 2004.

In the same year, she was named the cultural ambassador for the UK-Korea Creative Futures mutual exchange. She then returned to the big screen with "Mothers" based on the book Your Request - "My Other Mother" by Lee Dong-eun, who also directs the film.

In 2019, Im Soo Jung returned to the small screen with the series "Search: WWW." Lee Dong Wook made a special appearance in this drama.

Single in Seoul will also feature a star-studded supporting cast, including Esom, Lee Mi Do, Jang Hyun Sung, and Lee Sang Yi. The film will be directed by Park Bum Soo, the screenwriter, and director of Red Carpet and Genie.

The movie is expected to be realistic and relatable to the modern Korean audience and will explore how relationships change when people cross paths with one another.

Filming has already started for the movie from Nov. 14 and is set to last for three months.
