Girls' Generation's Sooyoung will showcase her acting abilities as a competent CEO in JTBC's new drama "Run On"

"Run On" is a romantic drama that will tell the love story between two characters, Ki Sun Kyum and Oh Mi Joo. Im Si Wan portrays Ki Sun Kyum, a former track and field athlete who quits the sport due to a life-changing event, and he eventually becomes a sports agent. Actress Shin Se Kyung will star as Oh Mi Joo, an adventurous woman who works as a film translator.

Girls' Generation's Sooyoung, on the other hand, stars as Seo Dan Ah, the sports agency CEO who is also a chaebol heiress. She was stripped from her position as a successor for the company because of her gender. Seo Dan Ah will cross paths with Kang Tae Oh's character named Lee Young Hwa. He is a thoughtful and kind-hearted art student.

She also talks about Seo Dan Ah's relationship with Young Hwa (Kang Tae Oh), the actress expressed that both Seo Dan Ah and Lee Young Hwa hated losing. She explained that Seo Dan Ah is living a hectic life, then one day she meets Young Hwa (Kang Tae Oh) to who she wants to give more time. She will eventually hurt Young Hwa's because all the emotions that she feels towards him are very unfamiliar to her. As the story progresses, Seo Dan Ah will discover herself making more time because she feels sorry, and at long last, their relationship will grow into love.

Sooyoung also shared some insights about her character, Seo Dan Ah. The actress explained that Seo Dan Ah's personality meticulously manages her time and allocates time in caring for her physical appearance since she manages a fashion company. She is particularly doesn't do nail art and prefers hairstyles that cover her forehead. Sooyoung further explains that she thinks it is because Seo Dan Ah, putting on polish and letting it dry and styling her hair is such a waste of time.

Then, when questioned about how she completed her character, her co-star Im Siwan replied that Sooyoung has definitely immersed in a CEO role regularly. The actor added that she couldn't be better at playing the character of CEO Seo Dan Ah.

Lastly, Sooyoung shared her thoughts after seeing the project. She expressed that all the characters in the drama may seem cool and affluent; however, they are dealing with their own scars somewhere in one way. She continued to showcase a love that would break the barriers that she kept protected and make her forget the consequences. Regarding her co-star Kang Tae Oh, Sooyoung shared that Kang Tae Oh is actually funny and cute in real life. He makes the mood on set so bright, and he's also a talented actor who makes her rely on him a lot,
